Kanguva: A Highly Anticipated Release

Tamil superstar Suriya’s highly anticipated film, Kanguva, has finally locked in its release date. After much speculation and several changes to its release schedule, the makers have confirmed that the film will be released in all languages on November 14, 2024.

The announcement, made on social media, has generated significant excitement among fans who have been eagerly awaiting updates. The film’s post-production work is nearing completion, and the trailer has already impressed audiences, raising expectations significantly.

Directed by Siva, Kanguva is touted to be one of the most expensive films in Suriya’s career, with an estimated budget exceeding ₹350 crores. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Bobby Deol as the lead antagonist and Disha Patani in a prominent role. The film is a periodic drama where Suriya plays a warrior, and it promises to deliver high-quality visuals and an engaging narrative.

The production has taken place across seven countries, showcasing a prehistoric setting that requires elaborate visual effects. Notably, the film features one of the largest war sequences ever filmed in Indian cinema, involving over 10,000 participants. Choreographer Johnny Master Remanded to Judicial Custody

Popular choreographer Johnny Master has been remanded to judicial custody for a period of 14 days by an Upparipalli court. The choreographer, who was facing allegations of sexual harassment, will be lodged in Chanchalguda Jail until October 3.

The Narsinghi Special Operation Team (SOT) police had arrested Johnny Master, who had been absconding for the past four to five days, from a lodge in Goa. He was subsequently produced in the Upparipalli court, where the judge ordered his remand.

In the court premises, Johnny Master denied any wrongdoing and issued a warning to those who were seeking him. He claimed that he would not be left alone under any circumstances. The case against Johnny Master was filed on September 15 by a minor who had worked as an assistant choreographer with him. The Narsinghi police registered a case against him under Sections 376 (2) (A), 506, and 323 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
