Massive: International actors for Pawan Kalyan’s OG
It is no secret that Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth’s OG is one of the most anticipated films in the making in Telugu Cinema. The states are exceptionally high on this stylish and slick action drama, which is nearing the completion of the shoot.
The filming is currently going on in Thailand, and certain action episodes in the film are being short here. Interestingly enough, the team has on boarded a bunch of international actors for these scenes.
Japanese actor Kazuki Kitamura who was seen in the famous Kill Bill film and Vithayapan who played antagonist in Only God Forgives are onboard for OG and they’re filming a bunch of scenes now.
The influx of these international actors will amplify the scale and canvas of OG that much more and it will start to add more value to the film as a whole. Thanks to the immense hype created by the first teaser of the film, which was released a few months ago.
The makers appear to have allocated a massive budget for the film. Sujeeth who got experienced with large scale filmmaking with Saaho appears to be rendering his efforts for OG now. OG will be nearly done with the shooting once this Thailand schedule is done.
Based on Pawan Kalyan‘s availability, the final schedule will be wrapped up in Andhra Pradesh itself. The makers will fix on the release date. Once the shooting schedules are wrapped up and post production gets underway.

Pushpa 2 For Oscars: Is It Really Possible?
Tollywood pulled off what was a miraculous achievement in 2023 as RRR went on to win the mighty Oscar for the Best original song category. The Naatu Naatu song in the film had won the Oscars for the mentioned category, and this is the first time that something like this has happened in Indian cinema.
Now that RRR has opened up this new avenue for Indian cinema, we are starting to see more exploration in this regard now. Incidentally, Allu Arjun is now said to be planning an Oscar’s campaign for Pushpa 2.
Apparently, Allu Arjun is now pushing a campaign for Pushpa 2 as he intends to keep the film in Oscar’s campaign for the Best actor and Best film category. Apparently, Allu Arjun feels he has a product worthy enough of the Oscars, and he is willing to get the backend works done for the same.
But the issue here is that the Oscars campaign requires a whole lot of monetary sanctions and high-level contacts. For RRR, it is rumoured that Rajamouli fun, a campaign that costed nearly US$40 million, and it took a lot of contacts in Hollywood to make it happen.
Now Allu Arjun has to do something similar, but without the marketing brains that Rajamouli had alongside him. This is going to be a huge challenge.
But Allu Arjun is anyway, resilient man, so he might push all the way to make it happen for Pushpa 2 at the Oscars.
But as a prospect, this looks extremely exciting for Tollywood to have multiple entries in the mighty Oscar. With RRR already having won this mighty prestigious award, if Pushpa 2 can push it further and make it on the big stage then sky is the limit for Tollywood and Indian cinema in general henceforth.
