Posted : July 2, 2024 at 7:45 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, a name synonymous with powerful performances in Bollywood, has opened up about his struggles with self-doubt and the challenges he faces due to his appearance.

Undeniably one of the most gifted actors in the industry, Siddiqui is renowned for his natural and nuanced portrayals. He possesses the remarkable ability to steal the spotlight from even the biggest stars with his captivating performances. His journey from humble beginnings to becoming a critically acclaimed actor is an inspiring testament to his dedication and talent.

Siddiqui’s filmography showcases his versatility. He readily takes on pivotal roles in mainstream films while also actively pursuing projects that resonate with him on an artistic level. This allows him to showcase his acting prowess and contribute to meaningful storytelling.

In a recent interview, Siddiqui made a surprising confession. He revealed that he considers himself the “ugliest actor” in Bollywood. He described internalizing the negativity he has received regarding his appearance, stating, “Even I feel it when I look at myself in the mirror.” This self-doubt highlights the pressure actors face in an industry that often prioritizes conventional notions of beauty.

Siddiqui also expressed his views on the emphasis placed on box office collections. He firmly believes that the responsibility for a film’s financial performance lies with the producer, not the actor. He argues that actors should focus on their craft and avoid getting caught up in the commercial aspects of filmmaking. He criticizes actors who prioritize high salaries, suggesting that exorbitant fees can negatively impact the viability of a film. Instead, he advocates for a focus on strong storytelling and production within a reasonable budget.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s candor in addressing these issues is commendable. His struggles with insecurity and his outspoken views on commercial aspects of filmmaking offer valuable insights into the world of Bollywood. Despite his internal battles, Siddiqui remains a powerful force in Indian cinema, consistently delivering exceptional performances that captivate audiences.

Arjun Das Overwhelmed By Saying Dialogues To Amitabh!

Posted : July 3, 2024 at 8:17 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

Talented actor Arjun Das, known for his distinct voice and on-screen presence, is making a mark in both Kollywood and Tollywood. He recently garnered praise for his work in Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film “OG,” where his powerful voice significantly elevated the film’s teaser.

However, it’s his role in the magnum opus “Kalki 2898 AD” that has truly captured the imagination of fans. Das lent his voice to Lord Krishna in the film, and his booming delivery left a lasting impression. The experience, as Das himself describes, was a dream come true.

In a heartfelt note to the film’s team, Das recounted his initial hesitation when approached for the role. “A few weeks ago, Swapna called and asked if I would dub for Lord Krishna in Kalki,” he wrote. “Being a lifelong fan of Amitabh Bachchan, and having attempted to mimic his voice in my youth, I wasn’t sure I could do it justice.”

However, the prospect of sharing screen space (through voice acting) with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan was too enticing to resist. “Swapna convinced me by saying, ‘You will be talking to Amitabh Bachchan,'” Das shared.

Upon arriving at the studio, the weight of the opportunity hit Das. “The moment I heard Bachchan Sir’s dub, it took a while to sink in,” he admitted. “All I could hear were his iconic dialogues playing in my head.”

Overcoming his initial awe, Das dove into the project with dedication. He credited director Nag Ashwin for his invaluable guidance throughout the process. “Despite his busy schedule,” Das stated, “Nag Ashwin was kind enough to sit with me for three days and guide me through the dubbing.”

While time constraints limited Das to recording the dialogues in Telugu and Hindi, his gratitude for the opportunity remained immense. He expressed his appreciation to the entire team, particularly Swapna and Nag Ashwin, for their trust and support.

The highlight of the experience, however, was undoubtedly the chance to interact with his idol. “As a little kid, I would have never dreamt of saying dialogues to Bachchan Sir,” Das wrote. “Thank you team Kalki. That kid has a smile on his face for a lifetime.”

Das’s story exemplifies the power of dedication and the thrill of achieving a childhood dream. His performance in “Kalki 2898 AD” is a testament to his talent and a reminder of the magic that cinema can create.
