Chennai is facing severe flooding after a heavy rainstorm hit the city and neighboring areas on Tuesday, causing significant disruption. Low-lying areas have been inundated with knee-deep water, leading to traffic jams, flight and train cancellations, and power outages.
Amid these conditions, there were rumors circulating online that Superstar Rajinikanth’s house in the upscale Poes Garden locality had been flooded.
However, Rajinikanth’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Riaz Ahmed, swiftly debunked these reports, assuring fans and the public that the actor’s residence is unaffected. He took to social media to clarify, writing, “Reports circulating about flooding at #Superstar @rajinikanth’s residence are false. Everyone is safe and sound.”
Though the Poes Garden area experienced waterlogging, it seems that images of the flooded streets may have sparked the inaccurate reports about Rajinikanth’s home. It clearly states that there is no worry around Rajinikanth or his residence. On the work front, Rajinikanth was recently seen in the film Vettaiyan.
Directed by TG Gnanvel, the film is doing well at the box office. The film also features Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati and others.
