Over the past few years, there have been numerous speculations surrounding the sequel to senior director Vamsi’s yesteryear classic comedy, Ladies Tailor. Titled Fashion Designer S/O Ladies Tailor, this film was supposed to be directed by Vamsi himself, while Madhura Sreedhar will produce it.

Initially, Vamsi was reportedly in discussions with Ravi Teja to reprise Rajendra Prasad. However, nothing much was heard about the project. Last year, the makers announced that young and rising star Raj Tarun has been roped in to play the hero in this sequel.

But even Raj Tarun gave a rude shock to the makers by walking out of the project. The rumours had it that the young hero didn’t like the full script penned by Vamsi. The project has been put on hold for a long time.

This morning, Madhura Sreedhar announced that young hero Sumanth Ashwin, who is struggling hard with no solid hits in hand after Kerintha, will be playing the Fashion Designer’s role in this film. More details about the project are awaited.
