Taking a strong exception to comments made by IT and Panchayat Raj minister K T Rama Rao, senior Congress leader and MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy advised KTR to hold his tongue. Gutha was angry as KTR commented against him personally.

Speaking to mediapersons at Assembly media point on Thursday, Gutha advised KTR to give respect to elders and behave in a dignified manner instead of stooping to make personal remarks on Opposition leaders.

Responding to KTR’s comment earlier that Gutha had miserably failed to develop his constituency during previous governments, Gutha reiterated that several developmental programs had been undertaken by successive Congress governments.

He also admitted that TDP also implemented welfare programs in the State.

The MP also charged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with encouraging defections by admitting Congress legislators into TRS.

“Maintain some moral values in politics and don’t try to ruin Opposition parties”, he advised KCR.
