This weekend, there has been an interesting discussion about the nature of new theatrical outings. On one hand, we have the second instalment from the Pushpa franchise – Pushpa: The Rule While the western audience were served, the theatrical re-release of Interstellar.

Incidentally, there has been a section of Indian cinema enthusiast who have been spitting venom at Pushpa, saying that this films release resulted in sacrifice of interstellar release in India. There is a section of Bollywood cinema lovers who are faulting Pushpa for claiming the majority of the theatres all across India, and thus objecting Interstellar release.

However, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has now started to win the hearts of Indian audience with her latest comments on the Pushpa film. In the debate pertaining to Pushpa two and the mentioned Hollywood film, Janhvi Kapoor has clearly sided with the Allu Arjun film.

Janhvi noted that there is no reason to fantasise and pushing overtly pushing western validation by picking Interstellar over Pushpa 2. She clearly mentioned that even Hollywood folk are looking at Indian cinema, and appreciating the kind of work here.

At this point in time section of Indian audience, wanting western domination here by picking Interstellar over Pushpa appears to have agitated Janhvi Kapoor to a great extent. She has made her opinions very firmly by backing the Allu Arjun film over the Hollywood biggie.

It shall be noted that Janhvi Kapoor was originally approached to do an item song in the film, but that did not happen due to various logistical and fiscal reasons. However, the love for Janhvi Kapoor on the Allu Arjun film has not stagnated one bit ad she appears to be fully in love with this mass action film.
