Actor Vishal, a mainstay in Tamil cinema for nearly two decades, recently addressed the Telugu media to promote his upcoming film, “Rathnam.” The Telugu audience has long been a fan of Vishal’s dubbed movies, and “Rathnam” promises to be another crowd-pleaser.

Vishal expressed his gratitude to the media for their 19 years of support and apologized for missing a previous event due to medical reasons. Despite having 109 stitches, his dedication to promoting the film shines through. He emphasized his belief in “Rathnam,” calling it a perfect family entertainer with action sequences, on par with his previous ₹ 100 Crore success, “Mark Anthony.”

Highlighting the film’s elements, Vishal praised the music by Devi Sri Prasad, the impactful background score, and the natural-sounding Telugu dialogues by Rajesh. He also acknowledged the strong female characters, a hallmark of director Hari’s films. There’s even a twist in store, promised to be a major turning point in the movie.

Beyond “Rathnam,” Vishal is excited about directing the sequel to “Detective” soon, showcasing his multifaceted talent in the industry. With “Rathnam” releasing on April 26th, Vishal invites audiences to enjoy this entertaining family film.

Kannada Star Tarak Spills the Beans on Pushpa 2 Role

Posted : April 23, 2024 at 2:14 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

Kannada actor Tarak Ponnappa is making his mark in Tollywood. With three Telugu films already out and projects like Devara, Pushpa 2, and an untitled one in the pipeline, his presence is growing steadily.

He attributes the rise of pan-Indian films to the opportunities they offer regional actors, creating a diverse onscreen presence.

Tarak has even quit his Kannada show to focus on Telugu projects. “Currently, my priority is to continue working in Telugu cinema where I’m receiving promising opportunities,” he says. He believes success will open doors to new ventures and allow him to diversify the roles he portrays.

In his next film, Pushpa 2, Tarak will play a villain. The role required a makeover and even a fight sequence with Allu Arjun.

“Since I’m not highly experienced in performing stunts, he provided guidance on body positioning to enhance the menacing look on screen,” he says, impressed by Allu Arjun’s knowledge of stunts and dance.
