Raashii Feels Surreal On Completing 10 Years In Tollywood!

South Indian actress Raashi Khanna is celebrating a remarkable milestone – ten years in the Telugu film industry, also known as Tollywood. The talented actress, known for her captivating charm and acting prowess, has carved a niche for herself in the industry.

Khanna’s journey began with the 2013 film “Madras Café.” While the film itself did not propel her to immediate fame, it marked the beginning of her successful career down South. Her endearing looks and relatable screen presence soon garnered her a significant fanbase. Khanna strategically chose diverse roles, working alongside various young heroes, further solidifying her position in Tollywood.

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude in a recent interview, Khanna stated, “Completing ten years in the industry feels surreal. I didn’t know the language or the culture, but you (referring to Tollywood) embraced me like your own. You kept giving me chances to prove my talent. Thank you everyone who’s been a part of my journey for believing in me and my talent.”

Reflecting on her initial days, Khanna reminisced about her experience shooting for “Oohalu Gusagusalade,” her first major success. “I remember, when we were shooting ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade,’ I was naive and scared,” she said. “Years later, it has become my comfort film, a reminder of where it all began. But it feels just like yesterday. The film will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Khanna acknowledges the Telugu audience’s unwavering support, stating, “The film (Oohalu Gusagusalade) was my first big hit. My first brush with fandom happened because of Tollywood, and the love Telugu people have showered on me has been limitless. I’ll always be thankful for everything.”

Currently, Khanna has a captivating slate of projects lined up. She is busy filming “Sabarmathi Report” and “Telusu Kada” in Telugu. Her recent Tamil outing, “Aranmanai 4,” was a commercial success, showcasing her glamorous side. She is also working on another Tamil film titled “Methavi.” With her dedication, talent, and upcoming projects, Raashi Khanna is poised for continued success in the years to come.
