Suriya and Rajamouli Were Supposed To Work for Magadheera
Suriya is one of the most successful actors in South Indian cinema. He is currently occupied with promotions for his upcoming film Kanguva, which will be released on November 14th. The team held a pre-release event in Hyderabad yesterday. During the event, Rajamouli spoke about not collaborating with Suriya. Earlier, they were supposed to do Magadheera together.
During the event, SS Rajamouli praised Suriya for inspiring his ambition to create pan-Indian films. Rajamouli shared that he had plans to collaborate with Suriya, though the project did not materialize. He expressed his regret by saying, “It is my loss for not working with Suriya.”
Responding to Rajamouli’s remarks, Suriya expressed his eagerness to collaborate. “I openly admit that I missed the train and am still waiting at the railway station, hoping to catch it someday,” Suriya said.
There has long been speculation that Suriya and Rajamouli were initially set to work together on Magadheera, a project that starred Ram Charan. At a previous event, Ram Charan mentioned that before plans changed, Magadheera was originally envisioned for Suriya.

A Firestorm Over Fun: Rana and Teja’s IIFA Punches Ignite Fan Fury
Like a spark igniting a wildfire, the IIFA awards ceremony, hosted by Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja, has ignited a social media storm. While the duo’s comedic timing and Bollywood-style banter aimed to entertain, it inadvertently triggered a backlash from fans of other Tollywood stars.
The controversy primarily stems from their satirical take on the highly-anticipated Sankranti clash between “Hanuman” and “Guntur Kaaram.” Teja’s past comments about a potential festival winner, seemingly directed at Mahesh Babu, further fueled the fire. Additionally, Prabhas’ fans expressed discontent over a joke about the “Adipurush” controversy.
While such comedic punches are commonplace in Bollywood, the Tollywood audience seems less accustomed to this style of humor. This cultural divide has led to mixed reactions, with some praising the duo’s bold attempt and others criticizing their insensitive remarks.
Amidst the online uproar, Teja Sajja is currently filming for “Mirai,” while Rana Daggubati is gearing up for the second season of the blockbuster series “Rana Naidu.”
