Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was at it again. Despite strong criticism from Sangh Parivar, KCR once again lavished praises on the Nizam for developing Hyderabad into an international city.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the All India Industrial Exhibition, KCR said the great cosmopolitan city was built by the erstwhile Nizam, who had transformed Hyderabad into a place for all communities and foods besides building hospitals, including Osmania, Gandhi, Niloufer, MNJ and Mental and Nampally and Secunderabad Railway Stations.

“Nizam was a great ruler. And the credit of developing Hyderabad will go only to him. Later on, the successive rulers failed to build government hospitals and railway stations in the twin cities,” he said.

The Chief Minister promised to transform Hyderabad into an international destination.

“We can achieve anything with collective efforts”, he said amid applause.

He also announced that he would try to solve the exasperating vehicular traffic problem in the twin cities on the model of Dallas in the US.
