Sanjay Leela Bhansali Fails On OTT With ‘Heeramandi’!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, renowned for his grand visuals and artistic storytelling, ventured into the OTT space with his high-budget web series “Heeramandi.” Set in the pre-independence era, the series promised a visually stunning drama revolving around the lives of courtesans in Heeramandi.

No Chance Of ‘Indian 2’ Release In June!

The highly anticipated pan-Indian film “Indian 2”, directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan, is likely to see its release postponed from its initial June date. While initial expectations were for a June 13th release, sources suggest the movie will now be pushed back to July.

This news comes as another highly anticipated film, “Kalki 2898 AD”, is confirmed for a June 27th release. To avoid clashing with the potential “Kalki 2898 AD” fever, sources claim the makers of “Indian 2” are considering July 11th as the new release date. This would allow “Indian 2” a clear run until the next big pan-Indian movie hits the screens in August.

“Indian 2” marks the much-awaited reunion of the Shankar-Kamal Haasan duo after over two decades since the original “Indian” film. The sequel has generated immense hype, with the intro teaser receiving a positive response and Kamal Haasan reprising his iconic character. Pre-production work is currently underway.

Lyca Productions is bankrolling the project, which features Kajal Agarwal as the female lead and music by Anirudh Ravichander. Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, and others play key roles. The original “Indian”, released in 1996, was a phenomenal success that solidified Shankar’s position as a top South Indian director.
