While known for backing successful Tamil films featuring Ajith, Kapoor also prioritizes his daughters’ careers, having launched their Bollywood careers and now facilitating their entry into South Indian cinema.

Janhvi Kapoor’s association with Shikhar Pahariya is no longer a secret. The couple has been spotted together at various events, including parties, religious visits to Tirumala, and even the grand Ambani wedding celebrations. Kapoor, known for his candidness, has openly discussed his daughter’s relationship, though he admits to facing occasional reprimands for oversharing personal details.

“There have been instances where I’ve requested interviewers to focus on my work rather than my family,” Kapoor confessed. “Sometimes, I get carried away and reveal a little too much, and my children get upset with me for being so talkative.”

He acknowledges his missteps, stating, “I apologize when that happens. They’ve scolded me and gotten upset. There have even been moments when everyone, including myself, got emotional. I apologize profusely, and they tell me not to worry about it. It’s reached that point.”

Kapoor expressed his pride in being known for his familial ties. “I’ve always embraced this kind of recognition,” he said. “Initially, I was known as Anil Kapoor’s brother, then Sridevi’s husband. Now, I find myself recognized as the father of Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi, and Khushi, and Sanjay Kapoor’s brother. I take immense pleasure in this association.”

The release was delayed and now they’re trying to benefit from my recent success without clearing dues and demanding promotion presence. My team communicates my unavailability due to prior commitments, but they threaten to ban me from Telugu cinema.”

She added, “Our team attempted to negotiate for digital promotion of ‘Rakshana’ with Payal, suggesting clearing dues with compensation first. However, they refused to compromise, using my name in a way that tarnishes my image, which is unacceptable. In recent meetings, they used inappropriate language, stating that the distributor asked for Payal to showcase certain assets ad if she didn’t, they wouldn’t accept the film. We are now considering legal action because they are not settling payments and planning to release the film without my authorization or consent.”

Payal is currently working on two Tamil projects named ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Angel’ while she is doing ‘Kirathaka’ in Telugu.
