Nayanthara has been caught in the midst of a heated debate on social media in the recent past. This started off when she wrote a letter against Dhanush for putting copy right strike on Naanum Rowdy Thaan content and not letter her use th footage for her Netflix documentary.
There was a heated social media brawl on this matter after that and Nayan herself kept posting cryptic social media stuff on this matter. She hinted about Karma and the way in which it will come to haunt back.
Now, in an interesting development, Nayan’s husband Vignesh Shivan who is briefly targeted by netizens in this saga, has deleted his Twitter account which had nearly 2 million followers. He didn’t cite the reason behind the expulsion or anything either. He just deleted his account and escaped the Twitter space.
This could be an attempt to ward off the social media hate that has been coming his way and also that of Nayanthara’s way. But the fact that he disappeared on Twitter without any prior clarification or note on this matter is leaving many surprised.

While many expected that Nayan would be outrightly supported by everyone on this matter, it turned out that Dhanush too received a whole lot of support. The general consensus was that he, as a producer has the right to withhold his content and doesn’t need to comply with anyone for the sake of it.
Incidentally, Vignesh Shivan made his directorial debut with Naanum Rowdy Thaan which was coincidentally produced by Dhanush himself.
