As we know, Vijay Deverakonda always tries to pick interesting subjects from different genres. He gave a chance to a young director like Rahul Sankrityan a few years back. ‘Taxiwaala’ which came in their combination turned out to be a success. Now, they are teaming up again and this project has been in the news for a long time. The official announcement has arrived finally and it is going to be Vijay Deverakonda’s 14th film.

Mythri Movie Makers who produced Vijay’s ‘Dear Comrade’ and ‘Khushi’ will be producing this film. It is written ‘The legend of the cursed land’ and the time period has also been mentioned. Looks like the story is going to happen between 1854 to 1878. The makers will reveal more details in the coming days.

But the latest news reveal that Vijay will be seen playing a double role in this exciting project. Rahul’s last film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ too had Nanu playing two characters and Vijay is expected to be seen as both father and son in this film according to reports. The budget of this movie is expected to be around 100 crores and we need to see if Vijay plays a dual role for the first time in his career or not.

Along with that, his new project with ‘Raja Vaaru Ranigaaru’ fame Ravi Kiran Kola is also going to be in the news. On top of these two, he is currently working with ‘Jersey’ director Gowtam Tinnanuri and it is a cop drama.
