And the message he’s delivering now isn’t about cinema, but something more fundamental: water.

In his latest podcast, Puri dropped some mind-boggling facts about water consumption. He explained how the average person drinks about two to three liters a day, but the real kicker? The indirect water usage. From the beef on your plate (15,000 liters for a kilo) to your daily cup of coffee (140 liters), we’re all consuming far more than we realize. Even your mobile phone? It’s got a hefty 12,000-liter price tag attached. And let’s not forget the water wasted when we shower for hours or flush the toilet for the umpteenth time.

Puri made an impassioned plea for water conservation, especially in India, where millions rely on water without giving much thought to where it comes from. He warned that if we don’t start harvesting water now, cities will soon face a dire shortage.
