Director Rahil Anil Barve, renowned for his critically acclaimed horror film Tumbbad, is set to helm a new project that has generated significant anticipation. The upcoming web series, titled Rakht Brahmand, is slated to be produced by the dynamic duo Raj & DK and will be streamed on Netflix.
The series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including leading actress Samantha, who is fresh off her acclaimed performance in Citadel: Honeybunny. Joining her is Wamiqa Gabbi in a pivotal role. Adding star power to the project are Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur and the versatile Ali Fazal, known for his role in the popular series Mirzapur.
Rakht Brahmand promises to be a high-budget production, with filming scheduled to commence in Mumbai in the first week of August. The series will consist of six episodes and is expected to be a visual spectacle, given Barve’s proven ability to craft immersive cinematic experiences.
