Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth, aka Thalaivar who was expected to become the next big thing in state politics, took a surprising decision to not venture into electoral politics. The Superstar cited his health condition as the reason.His rather disappointing and surprising left his millions of fans in a state of disappointment, who have been waiting for Thalivar’s entry into electoral politics ahead of the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

However, Gandhiya Makkal Iyakkam founder Tamilaruvi Manian, a close associate of Rajinikanth has given new hope for Rajinikanth fans on the entry of the Superstar into electoral politics.Speaking to Tamil Nadu media, Tamilaruvi Manian has reportedly said that Rajinikanth didn’t rule out the possibilities of entering the polls and said, Rajini Makkal Mandram (RNM) was also not dissolved.

Adding further, Rajinikanth’s associate said, the Gandhiya Makkal Iyakkam will extend its support to the Superstar. Even though Rajini restricts himself from entering politics, the body will continue to function.His comments gave a new ray of hope for Rajinikanth’s fans that there is still a chance of Rajinikanth changing his decision and entering the electoral polls.

Rajinikanth who was supposed to make a big announcement of his political party on the 31st of December took a big u-turn and said he will not enter politics. He made these comments days before the big announcement.
