Megastar Chiranjeev is one of the most loved Telugu cine personalities. He is loved by cine enthusiasts and his fellow, actors, filmmakers, and producers alike. Here is one such instance, through which Sampath Nandi showed his love and admiration towards Chiranjeevi. Sampath, who had previously directed Ram Charan’s Racha gave away the title he had previously registered upon a request from Chiranjeevi.

Going into the story, the makers of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming project, tentatively titled Chiru153 have been contemplating the idea of locking ‘Godfather’ as the title of the film. After approaching the Film Chamber with the proposition of registering Godfather title, the makers came to know that the title has already been taken by Sampath Nandi. Apparently, Sampath Nandi had registered Godfather title for one of his upcoming projects. Chiranjeevi then sprang to action and asked if Sampath would be willing to give away the title. Given his love and admiration for Chiranjeevi, Sampath readily gave away Godfather title to the latter.

It needs to be noted that Chiranjeevi had previously done a big favor to Sampath Nandi by giving him the opportunity to direct Ram Charan. The film was a commercial success, thanks to Charan’s box office pull. Sampath Nandi scored a credible box office hit with this film and it added impetus to his career. Now, he is showing his gratitude towards Chiranjeevi by giving the title he had previously registered for his own usage to the latter.

Chiru153 has now locked Godfather as its title and in all likelihood, the same will be made official on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday, August 9th. Coming to Chiru153, the film is directed by Mohan Raja and it is a remake of Malayalam super hit, Lucifer, which had Mohanlal in the lead role. The pre-production work of the Chiranjeevi starrer is nearing completion and the film is set to hit the floors on the 13th of this month. Chiranjeevi will join the sets on the above mentioned date and the regular shooting will commence correspondingly. Nayanthara will be playing one of the lead roles in the political thriller and Thaman is composing the music.
