Despite negative reviews and disappointing word-of-mouth, MCA managed to rake in decent collections during the holiday season. Yet it has to go a long way given that its theatrical business is pegged at Rs 30 Crore. This aside, there is an interesting debate happening in trade circuits.

Trade is debating on who is the real crowd puller for MCA. No doubt, Nani is an established actor. But the rise of Sai Pallavi shouldn’t be ignored. Post Fidaa, Sai Pallavi went onto gain huge stardom and in fact, many even went onto praise her as ‘Lady Powerstar’.

Also, the fact that Dil Raju is bankrolling the film after Fidaa and Nenu Local, there is craze in youth. But it needs to be seen whether the film could actually reap in profits to its distributors, buyers.

If the film really break-evens, then we could agree that Nani and Sai Pallavi are indeed stars. Else, one has to accept the fact humbly.
