Will AP Govt Support Pushpa 2 Prices?
The makers of Pushpa 2 have been actively promoting the film in select mass pockets across the country. After the hugely successful tour in Bihar, the makers held an event at Chennai last night and it too saw a mighty turnout and was a massive success.
In this context, we are hearing an interesting new report pertaining to the ticket prices of Pushpa 2 and they are sure to catch the attention. Apparently, the makers of Pushpa 2 are pushing to have the ticket prices locked at Rs 300 for single screens in AP, which will be the highest pricing model implemented for any film to date.
For that to happen, the government of Andhra Pradesh must first be in approval of this substantially high pricing model. The makers of Pushpa 2 will have to secure the permission of the NDA government to make it happen.
Mythri Movie Makers who are funding the film have a close rapport with deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. Allu Arjun himself has family ties with Pawan and this must overpower the social media battle between Pawan and Bunny’s fans.
So, the chances are that Pushpa 2 might well secure adequate permission to impose high prices. But the issue is whether or not the film would actually be able to pull the audience to theaters in big numbers with such massive prices.
