RGV Ready To Go to Jail, But…
Highly controversial and persuasive filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is at legal loggerheads after having been caught in a social media hate fiasco. He is named in multiple cases pertaining to social media posts on Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh.
While there have been reports of RGV absconding over the last few days, he has now partaken in an interview on this matter and here’s what he said.
I’m not absconding or anything but I’m just figuring the situation where multiple people are filing multiple cases against me for an incident that happened a year ago. The actual people who are concerned with the incident have no problem with it but someone else is filing cases, RGV said.
Varma added that he is ready to go to jail if needed but only if he has a rightful case filed against him. He appears to be of the implication that Chandrababu, Pawan, and Lokesh themselves don’t have an issue with his social media posts against them, and if so, why do other people take offence and file cases.
About the selfies that he had taken outside Rajahmundry prison after Chandrababu’s arrest, RGV said he took the picture just out of curiosity and he would’ve done the same even if Jagan was in jail. He sounded much like the old RGVin this interaction as he backed up all his claims and comments.
